About Advieh

Advieh (اَدویه) is the Persian word for spice blend, a mix of flavors that can turn a good meal into something unforgettable. That idea is at the heart of who we are, a recipe app where trusted recipes, helpful cooking tools, and everyday inspiration come together to make cooking simpler and more enjoyable.

Our story began with the simple idea that everyone deserves a place in the kitchen, no matter their experience, background, or diet. We wanted to create a home for recipes made for real life, and a community where home cooks can share, discover, and genuinely connect with one another.

So we built it. As a San Francisco based startup, we've approached every step, from our very first recipe to every feature we've introduced since, with one question in mind: does this make cooking easier and more approachable? That question continues to shape everything we do, from how we design the experience to what we choose to build next.
